TED2013 Conference:  Our own Dr. Herzing is in the line up for this years TED conference in Long Beach California in February.  She will be speaking about dolphin communication in the wild and our new two-way communication work.

March 8-22, 2013 (Monday through Friday)

 

“Wild Dolphins: An Underwater Portrait” Art Showing

The photographs/art will be available for viewing/purchasing from March 8, 2013 to March 22, 2013 at Blue Water Editions and Gallery.  Gallery hours are Mon., Tues., Wed., Fri. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Thurs. 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.  The art will be printed by Blue Water Editions, the leader in new art printing techniques such as wood printing, brushed aluminum, glass, & acrylic.  All proceeds go towards the Wild Dolphin Project.

Featuring:

East Coast: Ruth Petzold, Lisa Keeney, Tanya Burnett, & Mike Bacon, Color Photography

West Coast: Chris Traughber, Black & White Photography and Patricia Weyer, Mixed-Media Artist

The Wild Dolphin Project will also have some Color Photography!

People that purchase photos/art from March 8 through 22, 2013, Monday through Friday, will be entered into a raffle for a photograph of Atlantic spotted dolphins.  The raffle ticket will be drawn during the closing party on Friday, March 22, 2013.

NatureScaping – March 16, 2013

Come and visit with the Wild Dolphin Project at MacArthur Beach State Park during the annual NatureScaping event on March 16, 2013 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

For any of you in the Boston area, Dr. Herzing will be speaking at the Museum of Science in their program “Contemplating Creatures” from 7:00-9:00 PM. The event is free, but you have to register at their website online.
